Micro-lot · ColombiaFrom the Pitalito terroir, in the heart of Huila, a washed coffee of great purity — SCA Grade 1 — with a bright citrus profile, softened by caramel and honey. It reached France under sail.
Pitalito, the beating heart of Huila
Huila is one of the most celebrated regions of Colombia: its coffees dominate the Cup of Excellence podiums, and the Pitalito terroir is its epicentre. Here, the vast majority of producers farm small plots of one to five hectares, where high-altitude soils and climate compose cups of remarkable complexity.
This lot comes from a quality programme that supports these producers over the long term: fair pay, training and preservation of natural resources.
Why “Limon”?
Its name says it all: in the cup, a beautiful citrus liveliness — lemon, lime, grapefruit — meets the indulgence of caramel and brown sugar, the softness of honey and a fine touch of spice. A textbook washed coffee, precise and luminous.
Like our Brazilian Mirim, this coffee reached the Mediterranean after a crossing under sail.

Our commitment
Each bag is roasted by hand in Provence, in the South of France, then packaged with a degassing valve to preserve the full range of aromas. This coffee also crossed the Atlantic aboard a cargo sailing ship: a carbon-free transport, true to our attachment to the sea. We dispatch within a few days of roasting for optimal freshness.
