Essabri Signature Blend : Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Guatemala

Four origins, one signature. The story behind Maison Essabri's permanent blend, a coffee crafted to stand the test of time.

The art of blending

If each of our micro lots tells the story of a single farm, a unique terroir, or a specific encounter, the Blend Signature tells a different story: a distinct vision. That of a coffee that remains constant, reassuring, and deeply rooted in everyday life, without ever compromising on standard.

Blending is one of the oldest arts in the world of coffee. While a single origin micro lot depends on one producer, one variety, and one single moment in time, a blend allows us to compose a cup, balance forces, soften edges, and marry distinct structures. A coffee blend is to roasting what a fine assemblage wine is to the vineyard: a search for coherence, harmony, and identity.

Four origins, chosen for their synergy

Our Blend Signature relies on four iconic origins, selected not for their isolation, but for the way they converse together.

  • Brazil, the sweetness: As the world's largest producer, Brazil brings roundness and sweet warmth. Its varieties, often from the renowned Bourbon family, yield a natural smoothness in the cup with notes of milk chocolate, dried fruits, and toasted hazelnut. It acts as the emotional binder of the blend, making it welcoming, accessible, and comforting.

  • Papua New Guinea, the depth: Far rarer in the realm of major blends, Papua New Guinea brings a distinctive hallmark. Grown on the high volcanic soils of this extraordinary island, these coffees offer a unique aromatic complexity filled with mild spices, tropical fruits, and a full body. It is the origin that gives the Blend Signature its remarkable depth and character.

  • Colombia, the structure: Colombia provides the foundational backbone of the blend. Gentle acidity, medium body, and a balanced fruity profile create the base upon which the entire composition rests. Colombian terroirs, particularly those of Huila and Cauca, offer an aromatic clarity that makes Colombian coffee the universal partner of great blends.

  • Guatemala, the brilliance: Guatemala brings finesse and vibrant energy. Grown at high altitude in volcanic soils, these coffees reveal a lively, elegant acidity and crisp notes that elevate the entire blend. It adds that essential touch of light, preventing the cup from feeling heavy and extending the finish.

A balance crafted for daily life

To blend is to seek harmony rather than the singular performance of a single origin. Here, Brazilian sweetness, Papua New Guinean depth, Colombian structure, and Guatemalan brilliance interact to create a consistent, round, and precise cup, season after season.

This quest for consistency is what defines a true signature blend: where a micro lot celebrates a fleeting moment, the blend celebrates a reliable benchmark.

In the cup, the Maison promise

The Blend Signature opens with rich notes of chocolate and dried fruits, roasted hazelnut, sweet almond, and cacao. A honeyed sweetness flows through the cup, balanced by a subtle, gentle acidity. The finish is round, long, and lingering, the aromatic signature of a coffee designed to be enjoyed every day.

It is an exceptionally versatile coffee. As an espresso, it delivers a dense, indulgent expression, ideal for a cappuccino or flat white. As a filter coffee, it reveals an enveloping roundness, perfect for a morning coffee that never overwhelms.

Permanent, available year round

Unlike our micro lots, which come and go with seasonal arrivals, the Blend Signature remains constant. You will find it in store every month of the year, housed in its instantly recognizable Essabri bag.

This stability is a deliberate choice. We wanted to offer our community a faithful landmark, a coffee they know, love, and can share with confidence. A coffee for home, for the office, or for Sunday mornings with friends.

More than a coffee, a daily ritual

The Blend Signature is our identity card. When you love it, you love Essabri. When you share it, you share our Maison.
